lol, the Zoo is full of crazy people. My ex's mum used to work there, told me all these crazy stories of stupid tourists and kids who'd jump into pens to get a photo-op, or try and catch birds or pluck the fish out of the water and everything. Doesn't surprise me at all.

The Zoo is suing for damages, probably under negligence. The Australian judicial system really likes negilgence. It has a much broader ambit than in most other places.

It's hard work taking down a roo. I tackled a southern-grey once and it was ****ing exhausting to keep it down. If you have rope it isn't too bad, but without rope it's ridiculous how strong they are.

I know I'm the winner though. I had roo steak for dinner.

theres a couple of things here

the security at the zoo must be so bad that they should really review it. what if a bunch of older kids or alf types got in, it could have been chaotic

the kids guardians, whilst not being sued, must surely be investigated for not being aware of a seven year olds whereabouts

the kid needs to be analysed and some answers given as to why it would even carry out this type of act, sounds like it is seriously disturbed

there were some events around here years ago where kids lit a bonfire in an old railway shed and then hung a cat over it on a rope and swung it through the flames whilst it screamed and died, the kids stood around laughing
