would you risk your testies and save a pet from the most ferocious beast of the sea!?@

No, a pet's life is not as important as mine. It's funny how mental people are for their pets. Dogs aren't even smart. Get a life, fool. Don't be a tool. etc.

haha yeah i don't know if i would, mainly because i am a wimp and i don't have any pets. but i might if i felt a bond. Still.. sharks are f*kin intense!

Awww :(

I don't know what I would do in that situation, but kudos to that guy for punching a shark in the face and living to tell about it.

I dont know if i would risk my life for my pet cat, but i would sure as hell do just about everything else.

Honestly, I wouldn't spend 500 to save my dog's life.

But she's old anyway.

I would.

It's difficult to say. On the surface, it seems insane, but if I looked at the situation personally and it were my cat, whom I rescued and have raised from a kitten, has a very distinct personality, have bonded with, etc., I honestly don't know if I would be able to keep myself from reacting on pure instinct/emotion. You never know unless you're actually put in the situation yourself.

Having said that, I hate small dogs.

I heard from a SCUBA diving instructor that the best way to shake off a shark is to punch him square in the nose. I'd probably give that a go. Maybe not.

how big is the shark i mean if it was one of them little sharks then ya i'd punch the **** out of him but my dog would prolly be too big for a little shark to mess with

Amit

my cat would **** up a shark

but my cat doesn't like being wet

so i guess the odds are kind of stacked depending on whether or not it was an aquatic battle

dogs can learn over 100 words of the english language on average and that's more than the average human uses in everyday conversation

so basically a dog is more socially capable than you are

and OT, i would never have my pit bull out in the water with a shark so i don't have to worry about it being attacked by a shark, but pit bulls are badasses so if it did get attacked by a shark it would probably **** it up

basically any shark that could kill my dog could also probably kill me so no i wouldnt die pointlessly along with my dog but if it was a shark my dog could prolly get away from i would try to capture it so we could eat it together

you'd have to be pretty retarded to use just 100 words of the english language in everyday covnersation tbh

most sentences are constructed with an average of five or six words repetitively

Amit

yeah so

i ****ing hate it when people talk about how smart dogs or cats or pigs or even monkeys are

next person who talks about it gets ten tons of neuroscience literature dropped on their nuts

people who go to johns hopkins are robots with powerful internal processors

tbh though my dog is pretty smart i mean he's not human smart but i can talk to him like another person and he seems to understand the majority of what i say

he does what i ask and obeys my commands even the ones i haven't actually taught him and when i ask him a question he responds with the appropriate body language

he's def not stupid

Amit

In a single half decent long post a person would probably use more than 100 different words. In this one, I have used twenty two.

But...we understand almost all words used by the average human. A dog only understands a hundred.

If the dog could understand 100 words a day, then I guess it would work.

But it don't.

I don't think terriers are worth fighting sharks over, to be honest. Huskies, maybe.

I think a husky would beat a shark's *** though.

Wow that guy is nuts.

Though, if this were my child I would do everything I could. I'd rather die trying then watch her get eaten by sharks.

But a dog? Oh no he's got Spot! SPOOOOOOTT!!

Oh well. Hey on the way home let's stop at the shelter and get another dog.
