i'm really sad about this. he was the most chilled out member of the band.

I like Pink Floyd and it's a big loss to music. I didn't know anything about him personally though so it hasn't really affected me.

Damn, I was listening to his solo stuff all morning because he's one of my favourite artists, and now I read that he's passed away. I'm bloody devastated. Rick was such a great pianist and keyboardist. RIP

What a legend this guy was. Weird how this happened just days after Gilmour restating that there would be no PF reunion.

Cheers to Rick

How sad. He had such a good understanding of dynamics in his playing.

I heard about this earlier today. I actually had a brief battle against a tear or two....it's weird to get worked up over someone you don't know dying, but man that guy was awesome.

RIP :(

If you were a fan of the music, you do know them, and they have been a part of you, adding to the soundtrack of your life.

R.I.P. The only concert that mattered to me I will never get to see. :(

RIP

As soon as I read about this I though "Poor Riva" because I just saw recently that he listened to Pink Floyd 20,000 more times than any other artist.
