Wow.

I saw Adaptation for the first time a while back, and after finding out Spike Jonze has only directed two movies that I know of, (plus I thought his music videos were pretty cool) I went out and rented this and watched it. I'm still taking time to get my head wrapped around it, but I know I liked this (and Adaptation too).

Thoughts?

I saved this on my DVR a couple nights ago. I'll probably get around to watching it today.

Only thing I didn't dig was the ending. It was kind of unresolved.

One of the things I thought was really cool about Adaptation was how Charlie Kaufman took the idea of the novel, but went in a totally different direction of turning it into film. Like, instead of just making Adaptation a direct....adaptation of Susan Orlean's novel, used that as a launch pad for a completely original concept.

And then wrote a script about writing a script for that completely original concept.
