i can't believe this thread has to be made but bridgetosolace is apparently a retard

discuss how retarded he is and/or why when it comes to shooter games, dual sticks gets jizzed on by mouse/keyboard every single time

also have you ever noticed that the only ones who think mouse/keyboard is inferior to dual stix are the ones who only started playing shooter games when halo and other bro games came out?

pfft

Just for fun, I'm going to say dual analog is better.

Just for fun, I'm going to say dual analog is better.

do you have any reasons, evidences, or proofs

for example

you are playing an HC-TDM call of duty 4 match on the computer and you wish to play at your very best and not suck huge amounts of dick

would you rather use:

a) mouse/keyboard
b) dual analog

be honest plz

the mouse/keyboard set up is clearly much more intuitive

It's just for fun I don't need proofs.

I've played COD4 using both, and honestly, I didn't notice any difference in my ability.

we're dealing with a younger more bro-like generation though

their miniscule brains can only comprehend so much and the rest must be dedicated to popping their polo collars and drinking natty ice

you played COD4 on the PC with a dual stick controller and didn't notice any difference in your ability?

lol wut i told you to be honest!!!

No, as in dual-stick on 360 vs mouse/keyboard on PC. No difference idk. I'd try dual-stick on PC, but then it's just more hardware. My desk is messy enough as it is. :/

It really depends tbh. I prefer playing FPS games on my PC because I'm really used to it. But for example playing a racing game on my xbox is much more fun than playing it on my laptop/pc.

well no **** there was no difference that you could see because the comparison doesn't work anymore since everyone is using only one type of controller

although your accuracy in shots that need you to reorient the screen past the POV went way down even if you can't tell the difference

actually the xbox 360 controller can easily be interfaced with the PC

go ahead do it

this is a thread on shooter games

by the way you can easily use your xbox 360 on your PC so even that irrelevant argument doesn't work

Amit

you can also steal "brosole games"

"bro" + "console game" = "brosole game"

If you suck at both games I can see why.

Alot of cheating kids use third party turbo controllers these days, so that sucks. I love the gamecube and 360 controllers, but
Mouse and Keyboard will always be the most fluid and sensible way to play a FPS.

rofl turbo controllers

i use both, depending on which I game I play. If it's fps or rts, mouse and keyboard, anything else esp third person games, probably controller.

I can use both because I'm awesome and don't feel the need to compare the two at all because I'm superior in my gaming ability obviously much more than Amit coz he whines about it too much like a sissy.

Keyboard/Mouse = Elite

and everyone else just plays the other way :o

For FPS: Keyboard/Mouse, there's just no comparison. Aiming is much more precise and reaction time is faster especially with a sensitive mouse.

For RTS: Keyboard/Mouse, duh. I'd never even attempt playing one with a controller.

For third person: This varies. Some third person games like Assassin's Creed are developed entirely with a dual analog (the 360 to be exact) in mind, and using it feels much more natural. However a game like Gears of War which still involves aiming a reticule is better played with a mouse/keyboard.

I know I didn't cover EVERY genre of game but the only ones I regularly play. Mostly I use a mouse/keyboard and a 360 controller for backup.
