Come here to comment about the events, pagentry, and general absurdity of the current Democratic convention and the upcoming Republican one. I happened to see part of Kennedy's speech today while I was in the doctor's office. I didn't really get much from it. At least not anything like what the news anchors there said I should've been getting out of it.

Pat Buchanan started talking about how there was no mention of the Christian religion. When that part was over and they moved over to Chris Matthews, he pretty much called Buchanan a dumbass. It was lulz.

Not a fan of Anti Flag at all but Wookiefoot and Matisyahu are very good, especially live. I think Anti Flag seems out of place since it's mostly jam/reggae type bands.
