I saw them there too. Wasn't impressed AT ALL. They have some alright tunes (okay, just when the sun goes down), but man, their live show was boring as hell.

I REALLY like Arctic Monkeys. Over here in Austrlia we only get terrible female brit pop stars from England (oh and the kooks but they're awfull) so when i found the arctic monkeys it was a pleasant relief. sure they get over hyped in UK. but i dont like there! HA!

Just because a moderately okay band slips through the net and makes its way into the Australian charts does not make them an awesome band. It just reinforces how crap the charts actually are.

That is really all they are though; an OK band. In the sea of bands like The Kooks, The Feeling and all these other "The" bands then they are okay, nothing more, nothing less. Just yet another band that the DJs at Radio 1 get obsessed about, all of whom seem to be biased towards indie, probably because they are straight out of uni. For other genres like hip-hop, what do we get? Westwood? Hahaha. Quite laughable really.

i really like arctic monkeys too. you should check out cage the elephant they kinda have a light hearted feel and similar sound to them.

I've only heard their debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, and found it to be very entertaining, with some refreshingly genuine energy and spunk.

But the second album is definitely more musically complex and I can see them using harmonies and melodies so much better. I'm quite interested in seeing what they do next - - I reckon they have a latent beachboys vibe just waiting to burst through...or maybe not...........

Don't bother with Last Shadow Puppets' album though. Waste of time as far as I was concerned.

erm not really dude,i just cant stand listening to that song.Its so boring..... just like their second album.But ah wel,thats just my opinion.

But perhaps their second album will be much better,Josh Homme will be producing it.So they got my attention and interest now.And im hoping they wont dissapoint me like they did with their second album.
