Dillinger Escape Plan is pretty good, but I'm definitely glad to see that Chris Pennie moved over to Coheed and Cambria.

****ing hell that's a compliment. We'd love it if you did something like that. When the guitarist gets home from work I'll send the high quality version to you if you want.

I disagree. I think Taylor Hawkins did a great job. Very different from what Josh Eppard had been doing on the 3 previous albums but still a great job. What's more is that Chris Pennie wrote all of those drum parts and Taylor just acted as a session guy so I don't suspect they'd be all that different had Chris played them. In fact the only reason he didn't play them was because of contractual conflicts.

The only thing I think sucked about the drums on that album was the tone of the snare. I'm not into the whole 80's hair band super-loose snare with a ton of reverb thing... Okay, maybe it's not that bad, but I definitely preferred Josh Eppard's snare tone.

Josh Eppard in 3/The Eppard Brothers > Coheed and Cambria with or without Josh Eppard.
