ok im getting really tired of just about every band out there(except metal) using choruses for like every song, and its all starting to sound way too similar and so predictable. im just looking for some bands who use diffrent song structures or just dont use choruses. im looking for stuff mainly in like the all kinds of rock(except metal) and indie categorys, with vocals please.
some bands i like are queens of the stone age, oasis, funeral for a friend, coldplay, and copeland. but im looking for a lot of stuff just around rock and indie, so ya please help.

lots of metal bands use a chorus regularly.

granted there's also a lot of bands (in all genres) who don't.

OBVIOUSLY just bands that don't already do that outright. the hidden ones. threadstarter has already considered post rock

ya i know post-rock, but just about all of it is really hard to find or the vocals are really weird, and i cant understand, or very little vocals. im looking for stuff like post-rock but with a lot of really good vocals.

Trail of Dead - "Another Morning Stoner"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzMEem448_4

not only is it the BEST SONG EVER but it doesnt even have a chorus! a lot of their songs don't, so check out the band as a whole.

there, thread is a success.

Check Out Slint's 'Spiderland'.
Classic album with very unusual song structures. I'd say that there aren't any "choruses".
