Unmastered: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6745188

Mastered: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6745196

I've made these downloadable, but won't leave them like that for much more than a couple days... if you do decide to keep a copy, please keep the mastered one and trash the unmastered one.

Oh ya, in case you are interested (although a re-post) link for a video that was made while I was tracking this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48nQp02pPIY

Thoughts? Comments? Wanna send me naked pics of your girl? - respond here.

Thanks, enjoy.

I like the unmastered as well.

I can't tell much of a difference between the two.

Is it the eq'ing that you prefer in the unmastered? Compression? Stereo width? Overall level?

Can you offer any specifics?

Thanks!

One thing i disliked was your floor tom. Although it has great low end, it rumbles too long in my opinion. But that would have to be fixed in the mix or even in the recording.

The levels will change with mastering and it does not sound like this was addressed. The post master mix is not good but the "sound" is cleaner and crisper.

your mastered just sounds like you ran a compressor on it and called it good. the mix is also kind of left-heavy.

Yeah I think the Master was just too loud.

Thanks guys.

We've gone back and asked for some of the highs to be brought down as well as overall level, but just a smidge. We've never used this guy for mastering before, so it's kinda an experiment. We did talk about some of the rumble in the low end, but I'm not sure how much we are going to back off on it.
