good idea to refinish the snare.

bad idea to refinish it... that way.

I like it. Snare would fit really nicely in a funk type band, lookswise.

You know, I've actually heard good things about this snare from several different people...

tis a good snare drum, looks a helluva lot better with the slipknot logos though, purple and pink just don't do it for me

It looks better than the original, but not really my kinda thing.

You know, I've actually heard good things about this snare from several different people...

It is a pretty nice snare, but I think most people (me included) are put off by all the logo's and stuff. I probably would have bought one already if it didn't have all the slipknot stuff on it.

The snare is really good, I like it a lot. Id go out and buy one right now if it wasnt ridiculously overpriced.
I dont even care about the slipknot logos, id just put a plain black wrap on it or colour the logos in with Sharpie.

EDIT- I give them both a 1 out of 10. Women needs moar bewbz and the snare just looks gay. Purple + pink? :o

9 for snare and 6 for the lady friend.

But seriously that makes that snare sooooooooooooooo much better haha

Yeah. Me too.

Isn't it just a sensitone but in an odd size?

Talos

Apparently it is but ive never played a sensitone so I cant compare them.

The JJ is 6.5 x 13" but its shell is thicker then normal.

The sensitone is under half the price on MF so yknow. It would be good if they were similar.

EDIT - Oh yeah and I have played this snare a lot, not recently but when me and my band went to rehearse I used to use a kit that had it and it was amazing, really good for the music we were playing.

He didn't take the badge off. =(
But it looks good. I think leaving the hardware black would have been better.

Why does the hardware look blue in the second pic?

Yeah.
13" and I think slightly deeper.
It's not bad, but it's not worth it's price.

I wouldn't be THAT harsh.

I mean, at least you can tell she's a girl right away. That starts her off at least at a 3 or 4 or so :]

I honestly thought it was some emo dude dressed up as a girl as part of the joke since the snare was so gay looking.

snare is ugly, so is the girl...

you're pretty close-minded to not be disgusted by a snare because of a name on it.

and the logos don't look that bad...and they especially don't look as bad as the snare looks now.

That's a good looking snare. It would be fun to play with different colours between the hardware/shell.

Badge removal would be sweet too.
