Instead of fully listing all albums; live, ep, lp. There should be two different sections:
LP
and
Live/EP/Rare-Realease/Independent Realease.
It just seems too cluttered. For some artists they will have like 5 EP's with one vote each clogging up the whole section.
Also there should be an overall rating which is all the artists albums combined.
So basically and "Artist Rating"
Anyone?

An artist rating would suck because bands go through phases of goodness.
eg. Weezer's first 2 albums would give the band an average of like 4.2 but if you add in the rest it goes down to about a 3 which would discourage people from checking them out. Same goes for bands like Cryptopsy.

I agree with the sorting of releases by LP/EP/Live/Etc
but putting it as LP vs Everything else is also a bad idea
It should be LP/EP's and then everything else, or just list everything separately.

I mean, in reality, we should just have a drop down menu for lp/ep/dvd/live/demo/unreleased when writing a review. Therefore band page can be organized to show continuity in both chronology and format. Also, you could look at charts that break those features down.

^^
Best suggestion so far. It would both add too the site, and offer a better browsing experience.

I agree with the dividing the releases in LP, EP, Live, etc. But the Artist Rating is not a great idea.
the artist rating is a horrible idea.
