OK, I've been listening extensively to the new Grouper album, Dragging a Dead Deer Up A Hill. Initially I wasn't particularly impressed, but it's now by FAR my favourite album of the year up to now. Has anyone else heard it?
It's so dreamy and alluring, and her voice just does it for me. The second track is particularly stunning, I think I'm in love. I haven't heard any of her previous albums but that shiiit is getting downloaded NOW!
Anyway, this album has got me thinking...I'd like some recommendations. I'm after some good music of any kind, with captivating, FEMALE vocals. Gotta be female. Thank you.
