Well lots of snobs and hipsters and trendy middle-aged folk and homeless people drink wine too. If you're drinking to feel the effects ethanol has on the body, you typically skip the crystalware. I like wine a lot, but I don't think I've ever had it from a glass if it was more than a sip or two.
