What ever happened to predictibility?
The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV.
Everywhere you look , everywhere you go (there's a heart).
There's a heart
A hand to hold onto.
Everywhere you look , everywhere you go.
There's a face
Of somebody who needs you.
Eveywhere you look,
When you're lost out there and you're all alone,
A light is waiting to carry you home,
Everywhere you look.
Everywhere you look.

Pyramid Song - Radiohead, no doubt about it.
The perfect blend of pop and progressive, art rock and electronica, melancholy and hope, with the sheer beauty and euphoria of listening to it just topping it off.
If you haven't heard it, do, now.
Full volume, headphones, midnight, completely alone. You will not be disappointed.
If you are, theres something wrong with you.
If you prefer it to be "real rock" though, Street Spirit and Paranoid Android come pretty ****in close.
Personally, I'd also throw up Money by Pink Floyd, Citizen Erased by Muse, Inertia Creeps by Massive Attack, Hoppibola by Sigur Ros and All Is Full of Love by Bjork up there as some of my other absolute favourites too.

I could list so many Dylan songs but if pushed i'd go with Boots Of Spanish Leather.
Always had a soft spot for The Walkmen - The Rat, but that's more for the memories than it neccessarily being the best song ever (even if it is still pretty sweet)

Looking at the room, I can tell that you.
Are the most beautiful girl in the...room.
(In the whole wide room).
And when you're on the street, depending on the street.
I bet you are definitely in the top three.
Good lookin' girls on the street.
(Depending on the streets).
And when I saw you at my mate's place.
I thought...what, is she, doing...at my mate's place.
How did he get a hottie like that to a party like this?
Good one, Dave.
(Ooh, you're a legend, Dave).
I asked Dave if he's going to move on you.
He's not sure.
I said "Dave, do you mind if I do?"
He says he doesn't mind.
But I can tell he kind of minds.
But I'm going to do it anyway.
I see you standing all alone by the stereo.
I dim the lights down to very low, here we go
You're so beautiful.
You could be a waitress.
You're so beautiful.
You could be a air hostess in the 60s.
You're so beautiful.
You could be a part-time model.
But then I seal the deal, I do my moves.
I do my dance moves.
Lets travel through, just me and you.
As other dudes around you on the dance floor.
I draw you near, lets get out of here.
Lets get in a cab. I'll buy you a kabab.
I can't believe. I'm sharing a kabab.
With the most beautiful girl I have ever seen with a kabab.
Oh, why don't we leave?
Lets go to my house.
We can feel each other up on the couch.
Oh no, I don't mind taking it slow.
Cause you're so beautiful...
Like a tree. Or a high class prostitute.
You're so beautiful.
You could be a part time model.
But you'd probably still have to keep your normal job.
A part time model.
Spend part of your time modeling.
And part of your time next to (falsetto) meeeeeeeeeee.
My place is usually a bit tidier than this. (/falsetto)

the only good thing about All Apologies is the production: it's Albini'd to hell and it sounds like Kurt is singing it from the corner of a room where he's all alone and crying ;_____;
^Also true of Something In The Way, without the Albini reference.
