I dunno.
I wouldn't mind TOO much if the world ended in 2012, I'd either be 22 or 23 depending on when it happened [probably 22]..that'd be OK.

I think after like 45-50 I'll be about done. Unless the future is supertastically awesome.

so long as i can function on my own
i refuse for some poor sibling to have to wipe my bottom for 10 years because i lack the dignity to face a fear of death

I am of Greek Descent & Mediterranean bloodlines so we have massive longevity in my family 3 uncles who lives into their 100's My aunt is 88
I am almost 50 & still look & feel 35. As long as I can lose this extra last 100 pounds, I should live into my late 80's or early 90's. You guys are young and act like 55 is old. Well, guess what. Once you get there it's not very old at all.

ummmm, isn't that what this thread is about. Since I have almost lived a half century, I am pretty sure I will have lived a lot longer than many of you on here who might not make it to 50.
No one is guaranteed tomorrow.

If I turn out like my great grandparents who are older than the Earth but can still walk around without difficulty and are enjoying their lives, then I want to live until I'm 100. But if I'm going to **** myself everyday and rely on someone to do really simple things, I'd much rather die at like 50.

that's where the spirit body comes into playSurely God can resurrect a destroyed body? That's what the Jews think and I know how much you like them.

Yeah but that's because Judaism started out monotheistic. Christianity has always been dualistic.

Depends on what I end up doing. If I finally land a good job and meet someone i can marry, have kids and grow old with than i wanna live forever.

But living in my current situation, I'd give it maybe another decade, maybe 2.

As you start aging, the decades start to fly by.

I'll probably die tomorrow (technically today). My birthday, Friday the 13th, and I work with machines and tools and such.

Grandparents have lived to very old age, and great grandfather is 104, so I have the potential to live a long life. Given how I treat my body, though, probably not very long.

How long do I want to live? That depends, I suppose. If I end up marrying a great woman and thoroughly enjoy her and our children/grandchildren etc then I would like to live as long as possible , as long as I function well enough on my own and can maintain a relatively active life. However, if my body ever begins to rapidly deteriorate from any kind of sickness or my family blows then I would want to pass sooner, say early 50s.

Well my grandad & my dad have died in their 50's so if genetic disease is anything to go by I shall be joining them by the time I'm 55 or so. (At least if I have the dodgy gene anyway).
