Alone In The Darkness

Soon enough the sun will rise,
And you no longer fear the night,
I go through my day its all ok,
Until the sun goes out of sight,

I lie in my bed,
With These thoughts in my head,
Which are piercing me with fear,
The shadow today is bigger then before,
And now its noise I hear,

The roar and mumbled moans grow louder,
And shadow consumes my closet,
My sweat,
Which now drips from my head,
Like water from a faucet,

Intensity grows,
my skin trembles,
But still nothing to see,
Where’s the flash that lights my way,
There’s something right in front of me,

I make a fists,
not too fight,
But to take away the pain,
I hate the night,
The weary trees,
which are dancing in the rain,

My heart beats faster,
I get a chill,
The room begins to weep,
I take a breathe,
Hold it in,
I try to fall asleep,

You can forget to close your eyes,
You must always be aware,
Hold your pillow,
Grasp it tight,
Get ready for the scare,

When it happens,
Its all so fast,
There's nowhere you can run,
Take a chance,
Forget the past,
The fear has just begun,

After that grueling night,
The sun comes out once more,
The monster is gone away for good
You finally won the war.
