I think alot has to do with the fact that they went from being a mediocre "metalcore?" band (i thought their stuff was pretty catchy) to driving in a convertable getting chased by bats....

Honestly, all you have to do is look at a picture of them and that should tell you that they aren't a good band. A band that is that wound up about how they look aren't putting enough emphasis on their songwriting.

It is flawed at times, but for the most part, it's pretty accurate for my tastes. Most of my favorite bands look pretty average aside from long hair.
