Last poll for round 1! Six films again, vote for no more than three. Vote wisely and make sure to arrogantly scoff and get really angry at people who vote differently from you.

editedit: Gawd I hate you for this. You think its some sort of sick joke putting what could very well be 6 of my top 10 into one poll? I know, I know, luck of the draw.

Persuant to my strict barring on voting for movies I haven't seen, I'll only vote for Saving Private Ryan, as that's the only one I saw out of this list.

The Shawshank Redemption
Saving Private Ryan
No Country For Old Men
I felt bad leaving out Snatch, though. As for the others, I didn't like Fear and Loathing and I saw A Clockwork Orange so many years ago that I've pretty much forgotten everything.

K I settled on Clockwork, No Country, and Snatch, Snatch being my favorite. Honestly, it doesn't get a lot of love because its not really considered a classic, not really that well known besides in certain crowds, but it really is a top notch movie. The way everything is intertwined and how it all comes together at the end, it really is genius. I love movies that really really surprise you at the end, and Snatch does it.
Thats why it was hard leaving Shawshank out. Like really hard.

Shawshank and A Clockwork Orange.
I could never get in to Fear & Loathing. And I did enjoy Snatch, but it's not in my top 10.

Toss up between ACO and Snatch, but I can't remember Snatch too well.
Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas and Snatch
edit: no love for snatch? :(

This is the toughest one to vote on so far IMO.
I went with Shawshank, Clockwork and No country.
All these films are very good, I can see why Snatch gets "no love", IMO it's just a jazzed up version of Lock, stock. Lock, stock has a certain charm that snatch doesn't have.

The others were good - but far from favorite and/or best. Both of those should win though. I'm gonna say it'll be a toss up for No Country and Shawshank for 3rd.

I really need to see No Country for Old Men. I love the Coen brothers and from the way its been received I'm sure I would have voted for it had I seen it, but I haven't and I didn't.
How do you guys think it compares to films like Miller's Crossing, Fargo and Barton Fink?
Apocalyptic Raids

Not as good as Fargo but better than Miller's Crossing.
haven't see Barton Fink so yeah.

I just recently watch A Clockwork Orange, and it was a fantastic movie, but i left not knowing whether i should feel sorry for the guy, or feel he got what he deserved.
I put Fear and loathing and saving private.
I'm going to say this is the first poll where I'm really happy about the top 3
