Why does there appear to be a port in your bass drum's batter head that keeps magically changing position?

the port is on the front head, the beater head is clear... not rocket science.

the meat hammer looks sweet.

the meat hammer

You have a new name.

Yes...grip peddler on Slovak 602 Russian kick pedal.
As far as the black hoops, Bill @ Pork Pie called me and said he wanted to do something different, and I said sure....and that is what he did. I like them..kinda retro.

It would look better if the drums had wood hoops with similar coloring, although orange and black is kinda ugly, unless its halloween :)

Oh and I believe "meat tenderizer" is the correct taxomic nomenclature for that device.

That is, like, the perfect kit for a pop-punk/doom metal band.

<_<

>_>

If such a group existed... it would be the perfect kit.

I like it.

...

Who wants to start a pop-punk doom metal band?

hahaha. I'm guessing harrow posted pictures of Mr. pink's set with kitchen utensils... but why couldn't pink put up his own pictures, and who is Harrow... never seen him around here before.

I can't post pics from my computer for some reason to Harrow helped me out.
I'm glad you think the kit looks retro....that was exactly what I was looking for. This kit is for the 70s-80s arena rock band I play with so I guess we nailed the vibe.
Shells are American Rock Maple. 6 ply on racks, 8 ply on floor and kick. They sound huge. All drums are standard size except kick. It is 22x16. The black snare is a solid brass 13x7 with a patina finish. The WMP snare is a solid white ash shell with 5 ply maple reinforcement hoops. Cymbals all 2002.
