On the Road is amazing!! It made me feel sooo inexperienced and so shallow in my approach to life.

i really liked On the Road. I read the Dharma Bums first and I'd say that had a bigger impact on me than On the Road did though. Such a great book

On the Road sucked a lot.

please don't make comments like this without justifying them in some way. This thread was made for discussing Kerouac, not starting an argument.

oooh, Kage, i'd love to get hold of those if i could. thanks.

I've read On The Road more times than I can remember, brilliant novel. I've been trying to find some of his other works for ages now & I can never find them. I'm going to try checking the library again soon.

Hm, the link works fine for me. Is there a problem with the actual .zip file? Try it again and if it still doesn't work I'll re-up it.

Also, I think I've still got his reading of On the Road somewhere. I'll up it if I find it.

Wouldn't justifying it and making a real point be more likely to start an argument?

It would, but go for it anyway. I have to read another of his books, but I did like On the Road for the most part.
