I've strung up my Aria Pro II with a low F# string, but I can't seem to get a good, bassy frequency response from that string. It is significantly quieter than the other 5.
I know that I'm going to have to either rewind the pickups, or replace the stock pre- (I'd be putting in an Aggy OBP-3), but I'm not sure which would have the greatest effect on bringing out the F#.
Any ideas as to which I should replace?
