Beside of that, I wish to discuss the Accent-Comp.:
As the Songwriting Comp., the Accent Comp. seems to die... we had only 4 entries and 9 votes; there is not much interest, though i love to do it :)

Any recommendations what we can change/do better? Maybe we should put it together with the songwriting comp? you have to play something and sing lyrics that are choosen before - then it won't be an accent comp., but through this we might get more participants.

If you have any ideas - post them...

And I'm definitely in favor of a singing competition with instrumentation in the background as an option, I think people could have some real fun with it and we would get a lot of participation both ways through voting and entries.

Congrats Jason for winning, kudos to Kacper for runing this.
And a song/sing/lol/whatever competition sounds cool.
It will be even funier and I'm sure to participate.

The only reason I am hesitant to have an instrumentation option is that a lot of people lack instruments or the ability to record them, thus placing them at a definite disadvantage. Plus I don't think it'd really boost numbers that much cos you're really only appealing to the people that participated in that comp and those numbers were definitely dwindling also.

Well I was thinking just making instrumentation optional, and maybe limit it to like 1 instrument? It's not completely neccessary or anything, just plain singing is fine.
