i was playing the other day and i noticed something strange, i don't know why i never noticed it before. When playing anything faster using both feet my left foot seems to slide back and it's a lot higher than my right. Almost to the point it's a 90 degree angle from the pedal board... HELP!! i know this is a result of bad technique but when i tried to change it to be equal with the right i lost all my power from the left!! I've always played heel up and i'm self taught so i never payed much attention to techniques, as long as i was learning something new i was happy. I know it's basically me finding the sweet spot on my pedals but i know something has to change!!

If your foot's comfortable, let it.

Unlike your hands, your feet are very good at figuring out what works for them.

Proper technique is over rated. As long as what your doing doesnt hurt you in any way, you can do it. When things hurt, that means something some where in your technique is wrong, and you need to change it.
