i will respond in the same fashion as you did, but i'd like to say first off that power metal is not quite my thing.
However:
the concept is sweet for sure.
catchy little intro and keyboard part. sorta like poppunkpowermetal.
was that the keyboard or the guitar doing those sweeps? either way, \m/.
I'm beginning to think the keyboard sound isn't quite metal enough. it reminds me too much of christmas and not dragons and swords.
Nice solo, the guitar player can definitely shred. works perfect with the theme of the music.
The chorus/jagermeister metal part is sort of getting annoying now, i've heard it enough. but i'm sure it will stick with me, which is sort of the point of a chorus like that.
and of course, the triumphant singalong/chant part! good way to end the song.
overall it's an efficient song. it fits well with the powermetal sound, but i don't see it standing out much from many other bands who play the same style. I'm just glad your singer has a lower voice rather than the super high chipmunk sound. the recording is clear enough to pick out each part and understand everything seperately, but still sounds somewhat lo-fi. which could be the sound you are going for, but i think a cleaner and brighter recording would suit you much better.

Many thanks. All most interesting points.
Any more?
Crit on the other song on there would be muchly appreciated as well to be honest. Although it is a live recording so the sound quality is far from ideal.
I consider myself to be a power metal buff. Pretty good, definitely stands as a passable power metal song. One compaint is that crappy nintendo keyboard setting at the start of your first verse. Not metal. Use a different setting for that part. Maybe harpsichord?
