ok, i made 2 new songs on my myspace.

the 2 tracks i want u to listen to is april 26th and 25th.

in past month ive been trying out with a band, and recently the frontman thought i couldnt cut it for some reason. my guess is probably cause i dont have an outgoing personality as the rest of the band. but the guitarist and bassist in the band think im a really good guitar player, better than their last.

lately ive been jamming with just their guitarist, and were thinking about playing an open mic, but without a drummer. we were thinking of using the beatcraft drums i made onto a cd and play along to it.

anyone ever do this before or seen anyone do this? good idea?

I tried this with my last band a few years ago. I don't know, it didn't turn out very good. The crowd didn't appreciate it as much. Luckily, there was a drummer there that was willing ot come up and play. It turned out awesome, That's how we met our drummer.

my "band" has been doing this for the past year. We looked for a drummer forever but couldn't find one and just went with it this way and got a pretty positive response. I'd rather be with a drummer...but playing something is better than not playing at all.

here's our link:

I think it's a good idea if ya don't have the other members. Do it.

you could do History or Master Exploder by Tenacious D
