Calvin and Hobbes used to be funny but now to me is just an incredibly poignant collection of art centered around the wild imagination/carefree nature of childhood.

Calvin and Hobbes by so far... easily the best comic ever. Garfield is funny sometimes, but Calvin and Hobbes had so much substance.

I grew up with both but Calvin and Hobbes has been an awesome comic strip. I miss the old Garfield books. That movie remake looked lame. I didn't see it but it did not look appealing at all.
