Okay serious thread now, because Wish is feeling angsty.
I bought myself some pesto sauce. I'm planning to make some bruschettas, but I'm lazy.
What else can I do with pesto? Any easy recipes out there?

What if I were to buy fast food, and disguise it as my own cooking?

You'd have to get it quickly from fast food place to dining table.

Okay I made the best ever sandwich the other day. It's actually heaven.
-Toast one side of two slices of bread under the grill
-Spread pesto over one untoasted side. Cover with this cheese idk what it's called but it's italian and you can peel it like cheesestrings.
-Toast under the grill.
-Top with Italian ham it's like, half cooked half smoked
-Lettuce and tomato, cover with other slice of bread
-Enjoy.

Hmm, sounds great. I can do a (cheapo) variant of that.
Thankya Nadine.

just throw it in some pasta with some garlic
shi...i love pesto. not the creamy pesto. don't care for that too much. where i work all they have is that crap
i like the oil based pesto. just olive oil and whatever herbs they use. a bit of garlic.
good for dipping bread or mixing in pasta
i haven't had any for awhile. dunno why? nice reminder....

I make pesto on a semi-regular basis, it pretty much owns. Usually I just throw it on some penne but bruschetta is also good. I made a sweet sandwich the other day with pita bread, pesto, tomato, and vegan mozzarella.

damn that sandwich sounds good
where i work is a little Italian pizza place that also sells pasta, sandwiches, etc.
boss says olive oil based pesto is too expensive. would have to raise prices on anything made with it
i should come up with some new dishes. he should at least offer some dishes even if priced a bit higher
the creamy stuff he gets pre made. i don't even know whats in it. but its not much good

Just pesto and garlic? Interesting... I had a pasta a few days ago, a Carbonara with pesto, that was nice.
And yeah, at my work, I just grab bits of turkish bread, dip it in pesto, tastes great.

Sounds great. Really need to buy some tomatoes, they're the perfect match for pesto.

yeah i really like the way it works with just pasta and garlic.
oh, and some nice Romano cheese, too. can't forget that. i prefer the sharp taste of Romano to the more mild parmasen.
gotta have the cheese :D
