View Full Version : Does anybody want to buy my stuff?
Aerodyne

Yep, I need some money, and, since I haven't played with any band in over a year, I can probably do without most of my crap. The bass is still mine though, but verything else is up for grabs!
Prices include shipping in CONUS, but I'll ship just about anywhere, if you're willing to help with the cost (UK, add ~$5). Oh, Paypal is definitely preferred! I'll adjust shipping for multiple items, depending on how many boxes are needed.
EHX Small Stone - US ($50 - Jody has expressed interest, so time is running out if anyone else wants it)
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ElectroHarmonix-USA-Small-Stone-Phase-Shifter-Pedal?sku=153315
Digitech BP200 ($75 [I'm flexible on this] - No power supply)
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/DigiTech-BP200-Bass-Modeling-Processor?sku=150162
http://youtube.com/watch?v=gQqwa7hkfX4
http://youtube.com/watch?v=SgbE6d0zpN0
http://youtube.com/watch?v=7IJ1AZNLgLg
Digitech Digidelay ($45)
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/DigiTech-DigiDelay-Digital-Delay-Pedal?sku=150821
http://youtube.com/watch?v=eHV4mCCm--o
Crate BT25 ($80 [Flexible here, too] - Pickup only, unless you want to pay crazy-*** shipiping)
http://www.birdlandmusic.net/product.php?productid=843&src=froogle
Levy's Military Webbing 2" Guitar Strap ($20, $10 with anything else - Green)
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Levys-Military-Webbing-2-Guitar-Strap?sku=365919
The pedals are all fully functional, the only problems being some minor cosmetic damage (scratches in paint, small dent, etc.; I'll get specific on request).
Make me an offer, these things are ready to move. If you'd like, email me at judd.thompson@selu.edu.
Cheers! :chug:

how much do you want for the big muff? i am VERY interested.
also, what are do the q-tron and ring modulators do? i might be interested in them if they are going cheap (depending on their functions).
i'm assuming/hoping you are in the US?

Big Muff - How's $35-40, shipped sound?
Q-tron (~$80) is an envelope filter; think "Readymade" by RHCP, or maybe "Down with Disease" by Phish. It's a fairly popular effect, so I can find other examples if you want.
The ring mod (~$50) is. . . odd. Very glitchy, broken Nintendo sound.
There's an EHX video on youtube that demos a bunch of their pedals. While they don't have the exact models listed, it should give a good idea.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=zk7vQ-IA4dk - Qtron
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ghWg-JtYZM0 - Ring Mod
Hope that helps!

Is the ring mod any good with bass? Soundclips? :p
Aerodyne
04-15-2008, 11:02 AM
It's not bad, but it takes some time to figure it out; much longer than with, say, the qtron. I'll try to get some clips up later, but I don't know how soon, exactly.
I'm going to search around for prices today and update everything.

rh - Sounds fine to me. I might add $5 for shipping if it's outrageous (>$10), but otherwise, it's a deal! Email me for paypal/shipping info.

I'm watching the demo, now. But, from a actual users standpoint, what would you say I could realistically use the pedal for?
Just listening to the demo, I'm hearing some Prince style R&B stuff, maybe some funk?
Aerodyne
04-15-2008, 12:05 PM
Honestly, I like it's use in "For the Love of Money," which is, like you said, a funk/R&B application. If you have some spacey/stoner music, it would be great, too. I actually like it on the really slow phase just for the change in dynamics; it's damn nifty.

I'd use it for purple rain.
I've got to pay off my second bout with conflict resolution though. :upset:

How fast does US to UK shipping go? I could do with an auto-wah for a gig next Wednesday but i doubt it'd get here in time. Either way I'm interested in the Q-tron+ and I'd probably buy it either way.

I was just checking for another order, and it's about $17 and the time isn't definite; the site I was looking at said "Variable" with their other services at 7-10 days. It would get to you. . . eventually.
Seriously, though, I've paid about $15-20 for shipping from UK and received in ~1.5 weeks.

I think $90 + 5 for Int'l shipping would be fair. Since you're in the UK though, you will need to get a power supply; it doesn't run on batteries. Just FYI. Email me for paypal info, and I'll get it in the mail tomorrow. :thumb:

Good lord, shipping is pricey! My quotes for shipping through paypal are almost $10 more than they were through the USPS site.
Anyone else interested in international shipping, I'm still up for it, but I might go with a $10-15 upcharge for shipping instead of $5.
In case you were wondering, dog food =/= tasty. :( Help me out, here. . .

Jody, I should be able to do Tuesday. I'm free at noon and 3:15 for ~1.5 hours. Send me an email and I'll give you my phone #, or you can get me in contact with your friend. Since there's no shipping, It'll be $40.
Akira, if you want the DD, drop me an email and we can exchange information.
To anyone else that's interested, Luke got his Big Muff yesterday, and he's pleased, so I'm not actually trying to steal your money.

Well leftists in the USSR were the radicals of the Commie government, not the big bad reds.
And many feminists considered themselves leftists, so I think we win the woman's right to choose thing as well.

Actually, Jody has already gotten the ball rolling on this one, but, if I don't hear from him by this weekend (Jody, hurry up ), it goes to EADGC first.
Faithinfire, if he falls through, I'll send it to you. :smash:
FYI, I'm in Hammond, LA 70402, but I can, and will, ship abroad (I will charge a little more to cover shipping, but it shouldn't be much); I can also arrange for local pickup, and will drop the price accordingly.
So, as it stands:
Crate BT 25 - powerpopman
Digidelay - Jody > Matt > faithinfire
Small Stone - Jody (Talk to me)
BP200 - Still available, let's make a deal
Levy's Strap - Off the table
Cheers!

I tend to do that as well, but I have actually been looking for a delay for a while and I know what I want to do with one
