A lot of people don't like the new one as much as the EP. And the EP was definitely better, but I love the full length too. These guys show a lot of promise.

Sometimes Thing Just Disappear is awesome. I don't know that I like it better than The Redder The Better, but it's still a really good album.

Truthfully, I didn't know what Pitchfork was until less than a year ago. They review some terrible and some decent bands. A lot like Sputnik.

I think that figure is a bit overstated. All the reviews I've read are by people who find their favorite band's album that hasn't been reviewed yet or people who never listened to the album in the first place.

All I can think of is BvS when I listened to the songs on their myspace. It was just softer and the singer's voice sounds forced. It's not terrible, but not really my thing.

When the guy from BvS yells it kind of sounds like Polar Bear Club a wee tiny little bit.

Other than that, the only similarity is the word Bear.

haha I hadn't even noticed that. PBC is like a less punk rock sounding BvS. Going back and forth between the two bands I don't see how you could miss the similarities.

i like this band quite a bit, it's the last punk-related album i've downloaded. they remind me of a wilhelm scream if you slowed them down considerably.
