you're gonna want to get a rug to put under your drums and pedals if you don't already have one.

most pedals have spurs that are retractable will dig into the carpet to keep it from moving. if you don't have spurs, you may have to find a way to tether it to your throne.

I find that having the pedal on either very smooth lino flooring, or thick carpet will mean the spurs can't grip on to anything. The thick carpet was a surprise to me but in fact the spikes don't get far enough into the base layer to stop the pedal moving.

You need to either put something heavy in front of the pedal, or as LSD said tether it to the leg of your throne.

Phat Foot system.

Cheapish and effective.

Some slave pedals have a bass drum hoop clamp on them, maybe you can attatch something to that if you have one?

I have never had this problem myself, carpet has always suficed. I dont even use the spurs, but that of course is an option...everything I know of has been said

My cheap PDP pedals have velcro on them and it works very well, i have never not once had to think about my pedals or any stands sliding in a very long time with a rug.

I've always just rested the slave pedal against the legs of my hi-hat stand (rotating legs), and I've never had a problem--unless there's no carpet.

I have my kit set up on a thin piece of carpet and my double pedal doesn't go anywhere. I've practiced double bass for hours on end and they've never budged an inch, and I don't even have the spikes pushed into anything.

You need to be more specific like what kind of pedals they are and if they have spikes and what kind of surface you are playing on and things like that.

Carpet/Rug is a must.
Otherwise what kind of pedal do you have? I'm using DW 7002 and mine has the spurs along with velcro so my bass drum will move away from me before those will (which it has and it took me a while to find out my double bass sucked more than it usually does)
But you can get a nice cheap rug at walmart for around $30 or $40 that's where I got mine.

Or, go to a hardware store and get an end roll.

I got a 30-foot roll of carpet for $20.

not only the spur thing, but most pedal slaves also have velcro on the bottom base plate as well.
