Well title says most of it.

I am a protools engineer, although i've only been doing it about a year. I play piano, guitar, bass, and sing, but I do not play drums.

I have a crapload of song ideas, rock, and metal and i'm looking for a drummer that has recording stuff as well to maybe work on a project with. It would consist of me sending scratch tracks, maybe getting some opinion on song parts etc. and you recording drums to it and sending them back my way for the other parts to be recorded.

I know some of you drummers gotta record music for fun. Let me know who you are.

scratch tracks for you to use could be sent online easily they would be smaller files. what gets complicated is when the song is near completion and I have a protools session that is 15 gig....

If it was a small enough session it could be burned to a dvd cd and mailed back to you. Basically if someone recorded drums to it, the session would proabably be small enough to send to me on the internet and I could complete it, mix it, etc. and send you the finished product as a single file.

Also if i could talk to each of you personally through email, myspace, or some kind of way then it would also allow for me to give more details about what i'm looking for, and to get more details from you all as well.

my email is in my profile.

Could you not export the scratch tracks, then send them through email or upload them, then me or austin record and then upload the drum-track?

Yes that would work. As far as sending the drum tracks back it would depend on the size of the files but just drum tracks should transfer just fine. And I planned on exporting and emailing scracth tracks

I also sent some of you emails that have one on your profile
