View Full Version : Did someone stretch out your screen with a really long rep message?

tell us about it and we (the mods) will fix them for you. if we notice a pattern of one particular user doing this to everyone then we might even ban 'em for a while!
unless you dont want mods reading your rep comments, but i for one don't really care what's written there. links to dirty pictures or downloads? i'm not gonna be checking every URL you got. just the huge messages.

Rep table stretching - the new hip bully thing. Kids all over the forums have been victims of this new type of terror, and there are no signs of solutions yet. Moderator Wish is very concerned:
"It's a huge problem lol."
Since rep table stretching, or simply "stretching" as the kids themselves refer to it as, is such a new phenomena the administration stands defenceless. Though while no concrete solutions have been presented, there is still hope that the problem can be solved somehow.

Klown is a respected poster on this internet forum, I demand his unbanning at once, he is merely misunderstood!

Okay I've had three more since (one neg) and this is really freaking annoying. Why isn't there a limit on rep length?
sadtaste
03-17-2008, 06:52 PM
That's just how the character limit is.
so you can put a proper message with your rep
like a jom or jxd style essay about how they hope your family and loved ones are all doing well
: )

How often do you people check your rep that it becomes such an issue?
Seriously it's just a number on the internets.

well with Pit threads its not an issue because there is no reason to ever read them after (or before) posting in them
but threads in music forums have actual discussion in them so i go to http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/usercp.php all the time
Iscariot
03-20-2008, 06:39 PM
thankfully the threads in the music forums move ever so slowly so even if i'm absent for a few days i've only missed like one page of posts in alt & indie or even half a page in pop-punk

Regarding thread title, your screen isn't really stretched. The monitor size remains the same. Stretching would be good though, I wouldn't mind a wide screen monitor.
tell us about it and we (the mods) will fix them for you. if we notice a pattern of one particular user doing this to everyone then we might even ban 'em for a while!
By we, you mean you, right?

What if they were terrorist plans, or homosexual video pornography? WOULD WE HAVE YOUR TRUST YDLODE?

And some mods don't give a **** if you have a stretched out rep comment box and will edit the other comments to make it never go away.
