PLEASE STOP FEELING THE NEED TO RHYME EVERY LINE.

ITS UNECESSARY AND SOUNDS TERRIBLE.

PLEASE, FOR MY SAKE, STOP I

Haha, come on now Surf... Rhyming isn't the devil or anything. I mean, yeah, go through an entire verse or chorus with one rhyme, it might get old. But having some sorta rhyme scheme isn't a bad thing.

Rhyming is obvious and dull

Its not necessary and is more often than not used as a crutch for a weak melody/structure.

You don't need it its distracting.

Its not a case of don't do it, but like everything, use it appropriately and effectively otherwise it undermines the entire piece.

Rhyming can work sometimes. Not having any rhyme scheme usually breaks something up to much and makes it totally reliant on where you break the lines and how the melody works with the lyrics.

Not having any rhyme scheme usually breaks something up to much and makes it totally reliant on where you break the lines and how the melody works with the lyrics.

i.e. things much more important than having two words sound similar.

But not rhyming means that you're not in a position where you forced to tailor the end of a line to suit a certain sound and are therefore free to end said line in a way that's not had to be twisted round a specific syllable.

Mx decided to puts spaces in the links. It stops hackers and stuff.

Take out the 20%20% bits and you should be fine

edit: in the case of your thread, you're going to have to put http:// in front of the links.
