flash avatar

my avatar is one of those that are like flash animations...
its next to my name but as a stillframe?
why?
and how can I fix it?

It's a .gif file, not .swf. If the original file was animated and isn't after being uploaded, it's because the original was too big in width and/or height. vBulletin only resizes single-frame images. Try resizing the .gif to 70x70 and upload it again.
