Sorry about starting a thread for this. When I tried to email you guys, I just got a "Email Disabled" message. Feel free to delete this after reading.

I've made 2 threads in the past (one today) in the Guitar forum regarding updates about my guitar site, both of which you guys deleted for some reason. This is a musician's forum right? I wasn't selling anything or spamming, I was simply saying "check out this cool guitar website I made" and asking for constructive feedback. And I've contributed plenty to the forum. It's not like I just signed up to post about my site.

Anyway, no hard feelings or anything, but if I can't mention anything about my guitar website in a guitar-related forum, that's pretty lame, and that doesn't make me want to hang out here.

Anyway, go ahead and delete my account. Thanks,

Hey dude,

You're right, but 'no advertising' is nevertheless a forum rule, especially if you're threadstarting. While it's admirable that you asked for constructive feedback on your site, promoting your site isn't a good way of doing it. If there's a community thread, you should post it in there and be more explicit in what you want. We can't delete accounts, here, though.

If you stick around, great. If not, all the best in all that you do.
