View Full Version : Request Changes/Features for Lists
I'm going to be revamping the lists feature slightly. This is your chance to include any special requests you have.
The changes that are already in the pipeline:
- Choice to have a full page list if you prefer.
- More lists displayed within a profile
- Choice to list items in reverse order
- Ability for moderators to make a list into a site-feature
- Fix bugs in the interface
Possibly:
- Ability to rate lists (can be turned off by list creator)
- Link lists in to albums/bands in a more direct format
Thoughts?
Choice to list items in reverse order
This sounds good.
Ability to rate lists (can be turned off by list creator)
I don't know about this though. it would probably be misused.
Agreed on the latter point. But trying to think of a good way to feature really good lists.
Maybe there could be an area above the normal list section that says "Featured Lists" or something. And lists that are generally good ideas with good descriptions get featured.
just an idea though
That's actually a really good idea... Will look into it

fix it so we can have descriptions for things apart from albums
also
when the database connects to an album for album art etc, it is simply based on the album title. when you insert something like "Greatest Hits", it comes up with the wrong album art.

Yeah I think the album art is a problem.
Also, descriptions for more than just album lists?
fix it so we can have descriptions for things apart from albums
Will do.
I'm not sure how to get around the album images problem, unless I give users the ability to explicitly link by file name. But some users may find this a little difficult to use.

some users shouldn't use the internet if they can't do that
