I just found out that a guy I went to school with has a rare disease that could prove fatal (if he's lucky he'll only need more chemo and new kidneys, or dialysis for the rest of his life). :eek:

I'm not afraid of death, I just don't want to be there when it happens.

I know a guy that has Huntington's disease quite bad and he's only 18 which is messed up cos you're not supposed to get it till later on in life.

i knew a couple others but i was never really friends with them or knew them much at all.

My sophomore year of high school, the most popular kid in the school died in a car crash on the way to school. His sister, who's in my grade, was in the car as well, but came out all right.

My junior year, my best friend's brother committed suicide.

A good friend of mine found out he had cancer back in October. It looked like it was going to be alright, but midway through December it took a turn for the worse and he died.

right after nursing school, one of the girls who was in my class was hit by a drunk driver and died - she was only 22

If I knew I were going to die soon, I'd probably do a lot of things that I already plan on doing, just without worrying about how I'm going to pay for it

The most recent one was someone i played football with when i was about 11, he bought a car from an auction for like,nothing basically and went for a joy ride.

apparently the car had wack brakes and he planted it into the wall of the school, 1 person of 4 in the car survived or something.

The latest death, that I can remember, was this redneck fellow who shot himself last fall. About a year before, about sixteen of us jumped him at his trailer for raping our friend, so I couldn't care less that he finished the job.

I knew him through some friends. I hung out with him once or twice.

You don't have to be sorry. I didn't think much of him

Girl in my class died when we were seniors in highschool. She had frequent seizures and she ended up having one in the night and dying. Couldn't breathe or something. That was pretty upsetting.

That whole week was upsetting. She died, a teacher's baby died of cancer, and a guy I knew killed himself in jail.

A few months ago my friend's brother killed himself. He was only in his late 20s. Has a daughter, too. She's currently orphaned because he's gone and her mom is a drug addict.

There's only one that I directly know of, and that one I didn't care about because he was just some guy in the hallway.

He killed himself last month, but the way he did himself in wasn't released publicly. Heard it was drug related, so that makes me care even less.
