Well, you said DJing, so Ableton Live.
Records, Edits, and it's very easy to use.

What don't you like about your current options?
Audition 3, Traktion 3, and FL 7 is a pretty powerful and versatile set of tools at your disposal...

fl studio doesnt seem very pro quality, you know? ive always heard reason was good. and i think adobe audition is pretty good, but i mean, other than pro tools, can you possibly beat it?

Logic Pro 7 could probably provide you with what you need. It has great MIDI capabilities. but it comes with a price tag of about $1300, and can sometimes be a bitch to use/troubleshoot. Logic 8 is only $500 (I think), but I'm not sure if it has all of the same capabilities.

And you don't consider it "pro" because...?
There is no "ultimate DAW" software. There's only what works best for you. It doesn't sound like you've really hit the wall in terms of limitations with your current software. Are there any genuinely crucial features that are missing from Audition/Traktion/FL when used in tandem?
I'd learn to use what you have rather than endless spending money trying to find a holy grail that doesn't exist.
