Why are the vocals so bad? I picked up Ill Innocence today, I wanted a new CD and it was the only interesting option available at the time so there we go. I havn't had much of a chance to listen to it but from what I've heard so far it's musically fair enough, not very complex, easy to listen to, some good melodies etc. Shame about the vocals, they are really bad, possibly the worst I've ever heard. Then again they are an all girl Japanese band, serves me right for buying it in the first place.
That being said I havn't heard any older material, just this one which I got today so, yeah.

What are your thoughts on this unusual band?

It's actually a bit disappointing on my part, I got it from the shop knowing nothing about them, although I had heard of the band. So I thought it would be some brilliantly inspiring melodic black metal with brutal vocals, fronted by some pissed off bearded guy. Instead I get the complete opposite.

yup, sometimes those blind buy's (as i like to call them) turn out good, and some just turn out bad
