No reason to keep this in forum only. If anybody has any friends outside of the forum, including people you know IRL, then you are more than allowed to include them.

The point would be to get people together and record a collaboration with an artist seperate from yourself. This is different than a "band" in the way that people in a "band" generally all share a part of the same vision, and artists collaborating both share different visions but bring them together in a "new" project itself.

Scrap the whole organization if it hinders you, you don't have to conform to the arbitrary rules I or anyone else sets. You can use the "competition" to inspire dedication and effort but if it constrains you, then bust out of it. Important thing is that you grow as an artist.

There's no better way to do that then to work relentlessly on your own terms.

That was the original intent, haha. I set the deadline a week earlier cause naut is notoriously lethargic when it comes to writing songs, and wanted to motivate him to finish it in a timely fashion.

My brothers friend is supposed to drop off cubase for me within the next couple days, in which case I will make a song with you IF noone else has stepped up. Don't rely on it but theres a good chance I'll have it by wednesday. I've tried audacity but for some reason my comp wont let me record over any other tracks with them synching up properly on it. Very annoying

Roee, those are some GREAT grooves dude. After a first listen I would say the first one has the best overall potential as a collab track. I think I could really rip it up at a couple parts in the song, as well as add some higher melody to support your funky basslines at others. OF course this is still speculation as someone else may want to work with you and I may not even be able to record :( . We'll see

i havent had much time to work on mine, got a rough cut done (collab with super_deluxe). i'm on spring break with nothing to do for the next few days besides work, so if you can wait until next weekend (to get time to mix and whatnot), i'd still enter something.
