Rex made eye contact, and threw a pick directly to me.
Phil Anselmo called me bad ***.
As far as musical accomplishments, I can now die happy.
See them. They're better than any other band I've seen, which includes Sabbath, Maiden, BTBAM, Dillinger, BLS, Metallica, Godsmack, Vai, Cephalic Carnage, The Red Chord, Mudvayne, Gojira, A Life Once Lost, and Shadows Fall (and many more).

I've always loved Down and hated the vocals.
Can't say I'm surprised now.

The bit in this clip that starts at 3:59, Patton Oswalt says the greatest Avril Lavigne reference EVER (The actual reference is at 5:35 but you'll need to hear it from 3:59 to understand it in context) :

GO LISTEN TO MY NEW SONG.
I've never heard what you think. I don't know, I'm interested in hearing what your disconnected, sunny disposition has to say about my incessantly depressing, dark, tribal music.

You guys need to listen to Control Denied. Chuck Schuldiner's best. He is the only guy who I think beats Bruce at those high notes.

So... the demo before he found a singer.

I liked him on it, it's not like he wasn't even then an experienced singer.

I've never actually heard the demo.
What I'm quite sure of is that he still wrote the lyrics, but the singer was brought in just to sing.

It's a tape so I can't upload it. The one song is A Moment of Clarity but I'm not sure if it is one of the songs on The Fragile Art of Existence with a different name.
I'm not sure if you have TFAE but Cut Off and What If on there are on the demo.

About seeing them, are that Down owns them?
CLOSE runners up would be BTBAM, Dillinger, and (surprises even me) Black Label Society.

This is the truth. I didn't really go for them though, Killswitch was main event, with Parkway drive, Everytime I die (maybe?) and Dillinger.

They were pretty good. Sounded nice, and had a pretty nice stage presence.

That's a Death song.
Yup, with a different bassist. And the more opera like vocals.
