You think this is new? Between this **** and the passing of H.R. 1955, which basically criminalizes thoughts, we are on the verge of living in that horrific future that sci fi authors wrote about years ago. I'm sure we all read 1984 and thought, oh no, we would never let that happen.

Well fyi, its on your doorstep

I've found the problem, captain!

anyway, i wouldn't be opposed to a possibly more thorough catalog of dna, eye scans, and palm prints for REGISTERED CRIMINALS or suspects

but everyone?
im absolutely against it

I wouldn't even be for it for criminals.

Better grammar please

but what i got from it is that this new identification catalog wouldn't be used primarily for catching criminals

I thought that sounded wierd.

What I want to know is how they will collect this data. Obviously it can't be voluntary, if the goal is to create the best database possible. I feel sorry for babies born after this whole thing goes down. They will probably just do it at birth, since I don't think fingerprints and irises change.

I would feel a lot less uncomfortable if it were for just criminals, but even then it would be strange that such a technology even existed.

Hence one of my main reasons for loving the 2nd Amendment.

Definitely.
