OK...a short essay...80 words or less on why you need it. Mention of llamas gets extra credit. This time tomorrow a winner will be picked.:thumb:

Please include where you live.

Ever since I started drumming I've wanted a nice quick accented cymbal, and this is it. My pet llama loves splash cymbals and we live in MA. And I only have 3 cymbals.

I believe I need it because I am in a band where I use splashes more than crashes and I need more variety in my setup. My llama also died yesterday and I feel really bad down here in good ole' North Carolina.

I want to visit the Sahara desert really badly, but that's gonna cost me a llama money to get out there. I'm from Chicago and because we have such a diverse city, I think I'm part hispanic, so if I spoke to people out there, would they understand me if I said "como say llama?" Oh, did I mention I'm in a band and absolutely have not a single splash cymbal? :)

I need it because my pet llama ed ran away yesterday. So I'm quite depressed and I need a lively splash to make my life better. Unfortunately my drum kit only consists of a crash, hihat and ride so I fear without that splash my life may come to an end :( I miss my llama ed :( Also, I'm from Marengo, IL the town sucks.

Serious answer: I've been looking for one around here for weeks, and I'm having a hard time finding one. I'm working towards a little 'splash rack' between my toms, and I think it'd be a vast improvement on my Wuhan 8" :p

UK'er here, but willing to pay postage :D

The dead and dying llama theme is a bit over used.
Think outside the box. Think of the majesty of the llama.

I live in the evil world of Llama, MA, which is ruled by Lord Llamatia. He said that unless I bring him a 6" A Zildjian Splash, he'll destroy my home and kill my family. So please, give it to me. :(

I think i should get this splash because my llama needs a new food dish. I just need duct tape and this will hold just the right amount of food.

I feel i deserve that splash cymbal because I am a Llama, an If I don't get it, I'll bleat you to death, crap all over your Pork Pies, then chew your lawn up. Of course, you yourself may be a Llama, so therefor, as common courtesy to fellow Llamas, I deserve the cymbal.

Majesty eh? Well I can tell you that llamas are well-socialized and friendly beings that gracefully make their presence known. They are very curious and will approach people easily. Many of us share traits similar to llamas. But would I want to impregnate a llama? For a 6" splash, you bet I would; we'd do it in an alley off of Addison and Damen in Chicago. I would happily conduct the spit test for this summa ma bitch! :thumb:

Mr. Pink, I come to you as Ohio's only follower of the llama religion. I believe that the true beauty and grace of the llama can lead us all to slavation, and I also believe that a 6" A Zlidjian splash is needed for anyone to enter the great llama pen in the sky. Please, help take me to a better place where I can live in dance in harmony with llamas.

The legend of the llama is one of great mystery and interest. The name itself has two l's right next to each other which alone makes this creature sound like a majestic and intriguing combination of beauty and strength. There was once a myth about the origins of the llama and it stated: "Although the llama is already a stunning and incredible creature, for one to unlock its innermost beauty and peace and see it in its true light, one must send a gift in the shape of a Zildjian A 6" Splash cymbal to a complete stranger."

i don't really like to talk about that but I'll make an exeption for that wonderfull splash.
So everything started a month ago. My llama started to talk about death and everyone he knows that is not alive now. He started to take drugs, to smoke and fight at school. I didn't know what to do. And maybe 1 week ago, he ran out of our home. He left a message on the table. I won't tell you what was on the letter , it is too hard for me. I only tell you that it is for some mistakes that I've done. I fear that he will kill himself or come back and kill me , or burn my house or even something bigger.
maybe if you give me that cymbal, I will feel better and not empty.(I won't tell you that everything is going well for me, money, a new girlfriend :thumb:.)

I pretty sure it is more that 80 words ,but Mr,Pink is a good guy and I know he will understant what I told you.

I live in Canada btw.

ty

-S.j.-

Oh ! And I,m am not really good in english. I would like to told you a lot more about what happen but I can't find the good words

And the splash would be for me and my riend. I would leave it on the kit I use whn we do some band practice, at my friend house, but I will use it more that him!

Think about it!

err...

because since i broke my splash, which i loved, ive been splashless. and being splashless is no fun. i used to enjoy grooving with my little splashy sounds, giving it a nice acceny sound...
and splashingis fun. one time i was splashing in a lake, and i was playing my splash at the same time, and a llama came along, and he couldnt play the splash cause he had no hands, so he just splashed around in the water with me for ages... it was well fun :P

Well...

here's a llama,there's a llama and another little llama
fuzzy llama, funny llama, llama, llama, duck

llama, llama, cheesecake, llama, tablet, brick,
potato, llama, llama, llama, mushroom
llama, llama, llama, duck

i was once a treehouse,
i lived in a cake,
but i never saw the way,
the orange slayed the rake,
i was only three years dead,
but it told a tale,
and now listen, little child,
to the safety rail,

did you ever see a llama,
kiss a llama,
on the llama,
llama's llama,
tastes of llama,
llama, llama,
duck.

half a llama,
twice the llama,
not a llama,
farmer,
llama,
llama in a car,
alarm a llama,
llama,
duck.

is THIS how it's told now?
is it all so old?
is it made of lemon juice?
doorknob,
ankle,
cold.
now my song is getting thin,
i've run out of luck,
time for me to retire now,
and become a duck.....

....And thats pretty much why i need it.

Ill try to give a serious answer plus use the llama!

Well I have been playing for right over two years. I've been looking for some diversity in my playing and trying to incorporate more sounds and textures. The 6'' zildjian would add wonderful color to my arrangement of sounds and help me get over the diversity issue of beind monotone and boring like a llama. This would turn my llama kit into a tina kit (Napolean Dynamite heck yea) (tina is the coolest llama ever).

bah: i just realzied the contest is over. well ill leave it up for kicks anyways.
