Lately i've been on a strange but awesome sci-fi binge. I'm looking for metal (any genre, really) that is heavily influenced by sci-fi related themes. That can mean lyrics or music. gogogo

Machinae Supremacy - Redeemer. Although it's kind of more video game metal.
And for hip hop, Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030 and Dr. Octagon - Dr. Octagonecologyst.
I think.
btw, no offence Josh, but this thread is pretty gay, just saying.

Oh ok.
Get the 2 hip hop albums I recommended, even if they're not all that sci-fi (especially Deltron 3030, that's a mad good album).

I hate to bring back lol memories but Nocturnus comes to mind, they're like anti-christian/sci-fi, which is pretty metal.

Some of Bal-Sagoth's material is space-themed. Not hard sci-fi material by any stretch of the imagination though.
I'm afraid I know the pseudo-medieval bands way better in accordance with my own literary tastes, so I leave you only with:

A lot of Wormed's ideas are scientifically based, that doesn't necessarily make them sci-fi.

Well, cool, but only one album. King of the Nordic Twilight was fantasy and the other one was some astrological-based bullshit. :)
