Building my own P bass

I'm really eager to build my own p bass. one question that ive had for a long time is what kind of body should should i go with. should i go with a warmoth made body? a 62 RI body like the ones on ebay, etc. are the 62RI bodies thinner? im completely noob to building, but i want to start gathering info. so any info would be great. thanks a lot

A warmoth body would be a good place to start.

Personally I prefer the slightly smaller P body that you find on the American Precision Deluxe Fender.

Try not to go for the (I stand to be corrected here) 52 P body and it is uncontoured and get very uncomfortable to play after a while.
