It's no secret that I have a lot of free time. It's probably even less of a secret that I have no real good way to spend it these days. It's also no secret that I can sometimes have lame tastes.

Enter Styx.

I like Styx. Talk about Styx in this thread.

Or, better yet, talk about this cover I'm about to show you guys.

This is what happens when I have the day off. I record a vocal cover of a Styx song over a midi-version of it.

Note: I am not a vocalist. The cover comprises almost exclusively of harsh vocals, and while I can do pretty apt and deep inhales, my high screams and most of the exhaled growls sound throaty and awful, partially resulting from an ongoing cough and partially because I'm just not good at them.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present:

Al Gore - Blaspheming on the River Styx, Styx, Styx

(but srsly talk about Styx here too MISS AMERICA, LADY, ETC).

If anyone has any respect for me, prepare to lose it. Thank you and good day

I always thought Al Gore was a great name for a band. I almost went with Al Gorement but simplicity always prevails.

I've always enjoyed a few Styx songs. "Renegade" rules basically.

DeYoung and Tommy Shaw are cool.
