Been doing a little research to no avail.. I'll be contacting some custom pedal builders but figured I'd give the forum a shot too..

Anyone have any info on effects pedals specifically for Vocals?

i.e., XLR ins/outs ... ideally NOT a multi-pedal ... specifically, an octaver (mainly just one octave below).

MORE specifically, what I want is a really simple pedal I can stomp on/off, XLR in/out, that will double the vocal 1 octave below, while maintaining formants (or maybe even a pitch knob for the formants).

The closest thing I've found so far is the Bost VT-1 ( http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Boss-VT1-Voice-Transformer?sku=180193 )

But the problem with this thing is that there's no footswitch for the bypass ... Meaning, I'd have to have it on a stand during a gig, to click Bypass with my hand, and since I play bass too, this would require that I miss a few notes to click it.

Any info/leads much appreciated.

Cheers!

TC Helicon makes a full line of voice pedals. Check them out at :

Not sure, but the doubler pedal might have what your looking for.

Thanks for the link.. I actually checked all of those out and they're each too huge of a plethora of effects for what i'm try to do ... plus it doesn't look like any of them actually do a straight octave doubling...

but thanks :thumb:
