I'd say his analyses are all pretty spot on. Obviously he's a total bastard, but it doesn't mean he can't be a political genius either.

I agree, but probably for different reasons. Why do you say that? From a global-statist POV, his is pretty much the only Islamic country that's been attacked by the West and has responded peacefully.
