The s/t is one of the best albums I've ever seen and the artwork of that album is ****ing amazing, I love most of their stuff. Their split with Man is the Bastard is also pretty tight imo.

but yeah they put on rad shows, but i've never found a reason to listen to their music besides seeing it live. it just doesn't fit in any situation. and i never saw any point in owning more than one album.

well to defend the point i made earlier, the reason i never found it practical to own more than one album is because they are a lot like The Rolling Stones and ACDC in the sense that they seem to produce multiple albums without any signs of growth or new ideas. it's just a lot of the same old. except i do remember when they released an album with long songs, but that was just annoying because they just drew them out with breaks of pulsing and then blast beats again. it's too predictable.

the two times i saw them, the instant a song would start, everyone would immediately compress together into this high-pressured mass of bodies, then there would be a 10 second break between songs (with ambient noise filling the gap) for everyone to breath a little bit, and they would start again and everyone would immediately smash together again. i think it may have been because the times i saw them were within the range of 2 years ago (so they had some more popularity than they do now, so more people were there) and i think maybe people here get more excited about their shows just because the band's from here.

I read that Plague Soundscapes is their best and that their self titled is a must have for the grind genre period. Thanks Hbp and Txus for your opinions. I'll be checking them out. They're kind of addicting, its weird. The other day I said I didn't really like Daughters - Canada Songs much but now I can't stop listening to it (even though its only like 11 minutes). I guess it just grows on you.
